Understanding Pricing and Tokens

How Coloring Magic Art pricing works — pay per page, not per month. Token packages, typical per-page costs, and guides on usage, refunds, and account history.

Coloring Magic Art does not use a monthly subscription. You buy tokens once, spend them when coloring page images are generated, and keep whatever balance is left for your next project.

That pay-per-page model fits parents, teachers, and anyone who makes a few themed books at a time — not a fixed fee every month whether you create or not.

This article is the overview. Three companion guides go deeper on the parts people ask about most:

How pricing works at a glance

  • You pay per generated coloring page, not per PDF download.
  • Three packages: 1,000 tokens for €10, 2,500 for €25, or 5,000 for €50 — €0.01 per token at every size.
  • No expiry pressure. Tokens stay on your account until you use them.
  • Default everyday cost: GPT Image 2 at Low quality uses 2 tokens per page.
  • Higher quality costs more. The same model at High quality uses 42 tokens per page.
  • Try before you buy: free weekly sample PDFs need no account.

Token packages

PackagePricePer tokenTypical first project
1,000 tokens€10.00€0.01Several medium-quality books on GPT Image 2, or one book with Low drafts and High final pages
2,500 tokens€25.00€0.01Multiple classroom sets or longer books
5,000 tokens€50.00€0.01Heavy iteration, parties, or higher-quality adult pages

Sign in, open Pricing, and check out with Stripe. Tokens are added immediately. The “up to X pages” note on each package assumes the lowest per-page cost in the catalog (2 tokens). Your real count depends on model and quality — the pricing table shows every combination.

Other models range from 2 to 73 tokens per page. See the full table on Pricing.

Model and quality in the wizard set how many tokens each page will use.

One real book example

A common first project is a 4-page book — like the Nice family trip walkthrough, using GPT Image 2:

  1. Generate four pages at Low — 4 × 2 = 8 tokens to test scenes.
  2. Regenerate those four at High for printing — 4 × 42 = 168 tokens.
  3. About 176 tokens total — under €2.00 at €0.01 per token, before any extra tweaks.

That leaves most of a 1,000-token package for more books. The what costs tokens guide explains which steps in that workflow are free.

Practical tips

  1. Preview line art freeweekly samples by age group.
  2. Draft at Low, print at High — see the step-by-step guide.
  3. Edit prompts before Generate — cheaper than regenerating finished pages.
  4. Check Account History — see spend and refunds per book in Account History.

Quick answers

Is there a subscription?
No. You buy tokens when you need them.

Is PDF download included?
Yes. You pay for generated images, not for assembling or downloading the book PDF.

Which package first?
1,000 tokens (€10) is enough for several medium-quality books on GPT Image 2 — about 90 pages at Medium, or roughly twenty 4-page books with no regenerations.
